Studies on SafeCare have shown positive outcomes in improved parenting skills, reduced parental depression, increased program engagement and completion, and increased program satisfaction among parent participants. SafeCare Evaluation Report Our partners at the Department of Health & Human Services of Humboldt County, California , have produced an evaluation report for the purpose of quality improvement examining SafeCare impacts from January 2013 to June 2016. Cost-Benefit Ratio The Washington State Institute for Public Policy rated SafeCare as having a $20.80 return for every $1 invested in SafeCare , the highest of any child welfare-relevant program evaluated in 2019.
